Parrots, mainas, aruna, ruddy geese, wild ducks, nandimukha, gelata, bats, amba-kapilika, small tortoises, boneless fish, vedaveyaka, Ganga puputaka, sankujafish, large tortoises and porcupines, squirrels, young deer, bulls, okapinda, wild asses, white pigeons, village pigeons, (and) all quadrupeds which are neither useful nor edible.
Cocks are not be caponised. Husks containing living being (i.e. insects) are not to be burnt. Forests are not to be burnt, either uselessly or for killing (animals)."

The society was founded in November 2006. This is a non-governmental organization run on the support and cooperation of our members and public. Our members are villagers, students, nature lovers and wildlife conservationists. The Society's one of the major activities is to organize workshops and seminars for wildlife biologists, college students and nature enthusiasts internationally.

Surveying wetlands of Rajasthan.
Surveying Aravali ranges of Rajasthan for documenting biodiversity.
Surveying monuments and historical places in the state for documenting wildlife.
Preparing 'Biodiversity Register' of villages and establishing network for long term biodiversity monitoring.
Creating awareness about the importance of wildlife and ecosystem in educational institutions and local communities.
